OSWEGO, N.Y. — Three second-half goals were the difference as the Keuka College Women's Soccer team lost 3-0 at Oswego State on Tuesday afternoon in a non-league game.
Keuka College (2-3-4) got a season-high 11 saves in goal from
Sam Pelcher.

It was a very evenly played first half as rain introduced itself during the action. Keuka College would outshoot Oswego State 4-3, however, the Lakers had the advantage in shots on goal 3-1. The Wolves' attempt on goal was from a
Peyton Steates free kick from distance and was controlled by the keeper.
Sam Pelcher made three saves as the game remained scoreless at the half.
The field would be tilted towards Pelcher and the Keuka College defense in the second half as Oswego State had 17 shots against the Keuka goal, 10 of which were on frame. The Lakers got the first goal of the game in the 54th minute and doubled their lead five minutes later. Oswego added one more goal in the 71st minute as the Lakers defeated the Wolves 3-0 on Tuesday.

- The Wolves are now 5-9-1 all-time against Oswego State. The Lakers have a six-game winning streak over the Wolves
- Sam Pelcher tied her personal best with 11 saves in a game. The junior now has 60 saves on the year, passing her 2021 total in two fewer games
- The 16 shots on goal by the Lakers were the most by an opponent of Keuka College this season
- It was the second time this year that Keuka College was held without a corner kick
