KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — The Keuka College Men's Soccer team tied the Hartwick College Hawks 1-1 on Saturday afternoon at the Jephson Community Athletic Complex.
Griffin Herron (Mynderse Academy) scored his first career goal in the 62nd minute of the game.
Carson Smith (Horseheads) recorded eight saves in the game.

The Keuka College Wolves started their gameplay even with the Hartwick College Hawks. The Wolves saw their first opportunity for a shot in the 19th minute of the game when
Owen Thorpe looked to pass to
Griffin Herron in front of the goal, however, the pass went wide. Gameplay would continue with the Hawks taking more of the time on offense.
Carson Smith was able to record three saves in the first half.
Going into the second half scoreless, both teams turned up the intensity. The Hawks managed to get on the board first in the 50th minute of the game, scoring with a penalty kick. Just three minutes later
Connor Thorpe attempted a shot on goal, but it was saved to keep the Hawks ahead. In the 62nd minute of the game, the Wolves were able to tie up the score 1-1.

Griffin Herron was in front of the goal to knock it in. From that point on, both teams would get multiple chances with free kicks and corner kicks, yet no one was able to capitalize to take control of the game. Ultimately, time ran out with a final score of 1-1.
