PITTSFORD, N.Y. — The Keuka College Men's Soccer team was shut out at St. John Fisher University 3-0 in their first Empire 8 Conference game of the 2022 season.
Thomas Callery logged a pair of shots on goal for Keuka College (1-4, 0-1 E8).

Both teams had chances with a shot on goal and corner kicks in the opening minutes, but neither team would break through. St. John Fisher mixed up their lineup with five substitutions midway through the half, and the change paid dividends. Five minutes following the switch, the Cardinals took a 1-0 lead over the Wolves. Keuka had a chance to answer soon after, but
Owen Thorpe's attempt went over the crossbar. St. John Fisher would lead 1-0 at the half.
St. John Fisher doubled their lead as the Cardinals scored 1:16 into the second half. With 30 minutes left to play, St. John Fisher put the game away with their third goal. The Wolves would have four shots in the second half, but only one of the attempts was on goal and saved. Keuka College would fall 3-0 on Saturday.

Up Next for Keuka College: The Wolves have a week off to prepare for their next game. Keuka College will host Hartwick College at the Jephson Community Athletic Complex on Saturday, Sept. 24. The 3:30 p.m. kick will be the third game of a Green & Gold Celebration Weekend tripleheader. The Field Hockey team will open the day at 11 a.m. against Houghton University and the Women's Soccer team will follow at 1 p.m. with a conference game against Nazareth College.
