The Wolves started strong in the opening minutes, but the visiting Golden Eagles settled into the game. Brockport controlled the ball in the Keuka half of the field and generated corners, but was unable to create any quality chances. The Wolves put together good linking play in the midfield in the 27th minute that led to a Peyton Miller shot, but it was just wide of frame at the right post. Minutes later, the Golden Eagles had a chance off a corner kick but Sam Pelcher was there for the save. The Wolves had a good close with chances off of a pair of free kicks from distance but were unable to connect. The game went to halftime scoreless.

Brockport started the second half with pressure, but the Wolves had a chance early on. Keuka got their first corner of the game in the 57th minute. Lindsey Garbacz sent the ball in but was cleared by the Golden Eagles. The game would continue to go back and forth. Brockport had a chance in the Keuka box, but Kara Rieger cleared it away for the Wolves. Keuka pressured on the counter-attack as Grace DeCapua raced down the left side but she was unable to find a teammate in the box. Minutes later, Brockport had their best chance as they had an open shot from the top of the 18, but Sam Pelcher made a diving save in goal to keep the game scoreless. The Wolves had a late chance with eight minutes left to play. Delaney Szostak found herself with the ball near the left post. Her quick shot was saved as the keeper cut down the angle. The ball would go over the end line for a corner, but the Wolves were unable to capitalize. The game would end in a scoreless draw.
