ELMIRA, N.Y. –Keuka College Women's Volleyball team lost at home to Hartwick College in an Empire 8 Conference match on Saturday afternoon. 

Keuka College (6-12, 2-4 E8) was led by Tionna Moss with 7 kills. Lauren Kuipers led the defense with 14 digs.

Hartwick College 3 vs. Keuka College 0 –  25-18, 21-21, 25-16

The Hawks came out strong in the first set to go up 6-2. The Wolves would make a comeback with a six point run to take the lead 10-7. The Hawks would respond back though with a seven point run to go up 17-11. The Wolves would add three more but Hartwick would go on another six point run to make it 23-16. The Green and Gold weren't done yet as they added four points to shorten the lead 18-23. The Hawks however would get the last two points and take the first set 25-18.

The second set the Wolves would start off strong but the score was back and forth until the Hawks would go up 13-9. The Wolves responded back with five points to take the lead 14-13. The Hawks responded back with five points to take back the lead 19-15. Hartwick and Keuka would go back and forth until the Hawks broke it open again to make the score 24-20. The Green and Gold but Hartwick would take the second set 25-21.

The Hawks would dominate the third set keeping a lead all the way through. The Wolves would chip away at the lead but the Hawks would take the third set 25-16.

• Keuka is now 9-7 all-time with Hartwick College. The last meeting was in 2018.   
• After today's game Lauren Kuipers has 630 career digs.

Up next for the Wolves: The Keuka College Volleyball team has a week off form games and is back on the road to play in a tournament at Misericorida College to play Marywood and Misericordia at 1 and 3 PM.
