Box Score KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — Keuka College sophomore Grace DeCapua scored a pair of goals and Peyton Miller added a third as Keuka College (1-9-2) defeated Cazenovia College 3-0 at the Jephson Community Athletic Complex on Wednesday.

The Green and Gold controlled play in the first have, having a two-thirds advantage in possession. The Wolves had their chances with 11 shots in the frame, but the Wildcats keeper turned the six shots on frame aside. On the other end, Sam Pelcher stopped the two shots she saw and the game was scoreless at the half.
Keuka College continued to press, showcasing their speed and athleticism down the wings. The effort paid off in the 57th minute as Morgan Fuller sent a long pass down the middle of the field and found DeCapua. The sophomore delivered a touch and then sent the ball low and inside the far right post to give the Wolves a 1-0 lead. Later in the half, DeCapua was brought down in the box and Keuka was awarded a penalty kick. Grace DeCapua got her second goal of the game as she found the back of the net from the spot to make it 2-0. Keuka added an insurance goal with 10 minutes left as DeCapua found Peyton Miller on the left side of the box. Miller went upper 90 to the far post for her first career goal and the Wolves would continue onto the 3-0 victory.

- Keuka College improves to 27-1-2 against Cazenovia College. The Green and Gold have won the last seven meetings and are unbeaten in the last 10 against the Wildcats
- The win was the first of the season for Keuka College
- It was the first penalty kick for the Wolves since Julia Oglesby converted from the spot in November 2019
- The five-point game for DeCapua is the most for a Keuka College player since Oglesby had nine in a win over Wells College on September 25, 2019
- Sam Pelcher finished with four saves on the afternoon to earn her first win and shutout of her career
Up Next for Keuka College: The Wolves have a week off for fall break on campus. The Green and Gold will be back in action next Wednesday, October 13 as they host Alfred University in an Empire 8 Conference matchup under the lights at the Jephson Community Athletic Complex. Kickoff is set for 7pm.
