Men's Basketball Falls at Penn St.-Harrisburg

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. — The Keuka College Men's Basketball team lost at Penn St.-Harrisburg 95-68 in a North Eastern Athletic Conference game on Saturday afternoon.

Nolan Ivey led Keuka College (5-15, 4-9 NEAC) with 14 points and seven rebounds. James Barnes finished with 13 points and Kyle Coffin added 10 for the Wolves.

The hosts jumped out to a quick 10-0 lead just 1:08 into the game on Saturday. Barnes ended the run with a layup as the Wolves got on the board. Penn St.-Harrisburg would carry a double-digit lead for a majority of the first half. The Nittany Lions relied on outside shooting in the first half. Harrisburg outscored the Wolves 21-3 from deep in the half. Devin Milton led Keuka with eight points in the first half. The Wolves trailed 50-30 at the break.

The Wolves increased their deep shooting in the second half. The Wolves knocked down five threes in the frame, including a pair from both Alex Medellin and Jordan Lewis. Harrisburg controlled their halftime advantage as the Nittany Lions went on to defeat the Wolves 95-68 on Saturday.

  • Keuka College lost their seventh straight against Penn St.-Harrisburg. The Wolves are 2-9 all-time
  • With their six threes, the 2019-20 team now has 147 this season, eighth best in program history
  • James Barnes now has 800 career points
  • 242 of those points came from the free throw line as Barnes moved to sixth on the career list. He also became just the fifth player in program history to make 100 free throws in a season with 101 this year

Up Next for Keuka College: The Wolves will play their final road game of the season on Tuesday evening as Keuka College travels to Morrisville State to face the Mustangs. In their first meeting, the Mustangs pulled out an extremely close 87-83 victory at Keuka College.
