Box Score KEUKA PARK, N.Y. – The Keuka College Women's Volleyball team lost to Oswego State in straight sets on Wednesday night at the JMW Recreation and Athletics Center.
Keuka College (3-5) was led by Grace Allen with 14 kills on the night. Delaney Yorks added 10 digs and 10 assists while Camryn Marcus led the team with 13 assists.
Oswego State 3 at Keuka College 0 – 25-19, 25-15, 25-19
The match started tight as the two teams battled back and forth. The score would be tied four times in the set with a pair of lead changes. The Lakers would have nine kills in the set while Keuka had just five. A handling error on the Wolves ended the set in favor of the Lakers 25-19.
The second set was tight with the set being tied ten times and four lead changes. A 7-0 run by Oswego State created separation for the Lakers. They took the second set 25-15, giving Oswego a 2-0 lead in the match.
The Wolves took an early lead over Oswego State. The Green and Gold led at 16-11, but Oswego State scored 13 of the next 14 points to take control of the set. The Lakers won the third 25-19, sweeping the match.
Up Next for Keuka College: The Green and Gold are on the road this Saturday with a pair of matches at Wells College. Keuka College will not face the host Express, but Keuka will play both SUNY Oneonta and Penn St.-Behrend over the weekend.
