Box Score 2 PITTSFORD, N.Y. — The Keuka College Women's Volleyball team completed the Nazareth College Golden Flyer Invitational on Saturday.
Keuka College (5-10) dropped the opener in straight sets to SUNY Geneseo. The Wolves then lost in three sets to hosts Nazareth College.
SUNY Geneseo 3 vs. Keuka College 0 – 25-9, 25-21, 25-21
The Knights got out to a fast start against the Wolves. SUNY Geneseo had 10 kills and no errors in the frame while Keuka had three kills and four errors. SUNY Geneseo won the opener 25-9.
Keuka College played much closer in the second set. An ace by Lauren Kuipers gave the Wolves a 21-19 lead in the set. However, SUNY Geneseo would score the final six points of the set to win it 25-21, taking a 2-0 lead.
Keuka College would once again hold a late lead in the set against SUNY Geneseo. The Wolves were up 19-18, but the Knights scored seven of the final nine points to win the set 25-21 and sweep the match.

Nazareth College 3 vs. Keuka College 0 – 25-13, 25-17, 25-23
Keuka College once again fell victim to a hot start by their opponent. Nazareth College had 11 kills in the first set while the Wolves had just four. The Golden Flyers took the opener 25-13.
Nazareth College would take that momentum into the second set. Keuka College struggled with errors in the set as Nazareth took a 2-0 lead, winning the second set 25-17.
The Wolves took an early lead in the third. A kill by Abby Anderson gave Keuka a five-point lead at 12-7. Nazareth would bounce back to take a lead over the Wolves. Keuka College responded and tied the game at 22-22. It would not be enough, however, as Nazareth would pull out the third set 25-23, sweeping the match.
Lead Wolf: Sophomore Camryn Marcus set up the Keuka College attack against the Golden Flyers. The sophomore finished with 17 assists on Saturday.
Up Next for Keuka College: The Wolves will remain on the road on Tuesday. Keuka College will travel to Oswego State to face the Lakers in a non-conference matchup.
