KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — The Keuka College Women's Volleyball team lost their North Eastern Athletic Conference opener on Tuesday to Wells College 3-1 at the JMW Recreation and Athletics Center.

Keuka College (4-6, 0-1 NEAC) was led by Lauren Moelbert with 14 kills. Alyssa Rex finished with a team-high 37 assists and four aces. A trio of Wolves all recorded 11 digs in the match. Lauren Kuipers, Emily Cottrell, and Brooke Buck each tied for the team lead in digs.

Wells College 3 at Keuka College 1 – 22-25, 25-21, 25-18, 25-22

The Wolves used an early run of points to take a 12-7 lead over Wells College. The Express shrank but Keuka never surrendered the lead. A kill by Grace Allen ended the set in Keuka College's favor, 25-22.

Keuka College would once again take a lead in the set. Wells bounced back to tie the set at 16-16 and took a 20-16 lead over the Wolves. Keuka College committed 12 errors in the set as Wells College levelled the match at 1-1 with a 25-21 second set victory.

The Keuka College offense struggled to get rolling again in the third. The Wolves committed a match-high 13 errors in the frame as Wells took a 2-1 lead in the match.

The Wolves came out fighting in the fourth. An ace by Alyssa Rex gave Keuka a 10-5 lead and led to a Wells timeout. The Green and Gold would fight off Wells college to maintain the lead at 20-18. The Express would not go away. Wells scored seven of the final nine points to win the fourth set 25-22, defeating Keuka College 3-1 on Tuesday.
