Senior Trevor Healey (Wethersfield, Conn./Wethersfield) scored a season-high 28 points and added nine rebounds, but the Keuka College men's basketball team fell to first-place Lancaster Bible College 66-57 Friday night inside the Weed Physical Arts Center.

Healey, a two-time All-North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) forward, shot 64.7 percent from the floor (11 of 17) and snared four of Keuka's 10 offensive rebounds. But the Wolfpack (7-6, 4-3) became the 13th straight team to fall to the Chargers (13-1, 7-0).

Junior Casey Williams (Syracuse, N.Y./Jamesville-DeWitt) added 9 points with 7 rebounds and 5 assists, and senior Tyler Hixson (Shortsville, N.Y./Red Jacket) had 8 points with 3 rebounds and 2 steals in the loss.

Senior Adam Starks (Wellsville, N.Y./Andover) had seven points for Keuka, which shot 37 percent from the floor (10 of 27) in the first half, and 53.8 percent (14 of 26) during a 36-point second half.

Four student-athletes reached double-figures in scoring for the Chargers, led by Albert Suniga (14 points) and C.J. Dunston (13 points, 12 rebounds). Lancaster Bible shot 52.4 percent for the game (22 of 42), including 66.7 percent on '3s' (10 of 15).

The Wolfpack, who trailed for much of the first half and all of the second, clawed within 53-50 on a layup from Healey with 4:58 remaining.

Following a layup from Dunston, Starks answered with a lay-in off a feed from junior Miles Boyer (East Rochester, N.Y./East Rochester) to trim the deficit to 55-52 with 3:50 remaining.

But the Chargers used an 8-0 run to pull away for the win.

Healey scored Keuka's first seven points of the contest, which was knotted at 7 through the first 5:27. Lancaster Bible went on a 10-4 run and led 17-11 until Starks made a layup with 7:31 left in the opening half.

Then the Chargers scored 11 of the next 15 points and led 28-17 on a '3' from Naheer Mirza with 2:51 remaining.

Hixson and Williams made consecutive layups to get Keuka within 28-21, but Lancaster Bible took a 30-21 lead into halftime.

Lancaster's lead fluctuated between seven and 12 points for the first 10 minutes of the second, but Hixson and Healey each made layups to pull Keuka within 46-40 with 9:30 remaining.

A step-back '3' from Healey trimmed the deficit to 46-43, and the contest was a back-and-forth affair until the Chargers went on that decisive 8-0 run.

Keuka returns to action with a 3 p.m. NEAC home game against Penn State-Berks Saturday afternoon.
