Box Score Senior Devan Curtis (San Clemente, Calif./San Clemente) and sophomore Tally McDonald (Romulus, N.Y./Romulus) each recorded season-highs in kills to spark the Keuka College women's volleyball team to a four-set win over Lancaster Bible College Friday night at Cobleskill, N.Y.
Curtis, a second-team All-NEAC selection in 2013, posted her second double-double with 15 kills and 13 digs, while McDonald tallied 12 kills for the Wolfpack (1-8, 1-0 NEAC).
Keuka College prevailed by scores of 25-22, 25-19, 22-25 and 25-23
Curtis hit .342 with two errors in 38 attempts, while McDonald hit .370 with two errors in 27 attempts as the Green and Gold hit a season-best .254.
Curtis added four aces, senior Danielle Alred (Horseheads, N.Y./Horseheads) had five kills and freshman Sam Thrasher (Vestal, N.Y./Vestal) added 10 digs with four kills as the Wolfpack earned their first win of the year.
Senior Rachel Parker (Chaumont, N.Y./Thousand Islands) compiled 18 assists with 5 digs and 4 aces, and sophomore Kaitlin Burke (Painted Post, N.Y./Corning West) added 10 digs in the win.
Keuka College plays NEAC rival St. Elizabeth at 10 a.m. and Penn State-Abington at 12 p.m. Saturday in the first of three NEAC crossover competitions.
