Box Score 2 The Keuka College women's volleyball team remained perfect in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) play thanks to convincing victories against SUNY Polytechnic and Morrisville State Saturday in Cazenovia, N.Y.
The Wolfpack (5-10, 5-0 NEAC) knocked off SUNY Poly in four sets, dropping the first set 25-23 before winning three straight, 25-23, 25-11 and 25-22 to earn a win against their rivals.
In Saturday's nightcap, the Green and Gold swept Morrisville State 25-20, 25-16 and 25-19.
Against SUNY Poly, a pair of seniors, Devan Curtis (San Clemente, Calif./San Clemente) and Rachel Parker (Chaumont, N.Y./Thousand Islands) recorded double-doubles in the win.
Curtis compiled 20 digs with 11 kills for her fourth double-double, and Parker added 17 assists with 11 digs and 2 aces.
Sophomore Tally McDonald (Romulus, N.Y./Romulus) recorded eight kills, freshman Sam Thrasher (Vestal, N.Y./Vestal) added 7 kills, 6 digs and 2 blocks, and classmate Katelyn Warren (Elmira Heights, N.Y./Thomas A. Edison) added five kills in the win over SUNY Poly.
Senior Julia Coryell (Phelps, N.Y./Midlakes) chipped in with 13 assists, 6 digs and 4 aces, while sophomore Kaitlin Burke (Painted Post, N.Y./Corning West) added 13 digs.
Against Morrisville State, McDonald had six kills, Thrasher had 5 kills, 3 digs and 3 blocks, and Curtis recorded 10 digs with 4 kills and 3 aces.
Parker added 14 assists with nine digs, Burke had 13 digs with three aces, senior Danielle Alred (Horseheads, N.Y./Horseheads) had four blocks with three kills, and sophomore Rachel Elliot (Dundas, Ont./Parkside) recorded three kills with two blocks in the sweep.
The Wolfpack play Cazenovia and SUNY Cobleskill on Sunday before hosting the University of Pitt-Bradford at 7 p.m. Thursday night in a non-conference clash.
