Joe Simone will focus on the hitters for the Wolves and brings an impressive background with him. Simone began his collegiate career at Division I Rider University. He played four years for the Broncs as an outfielder. His best year came in 2018 when he hit .331 for the season, led Rider in slugging and on-base percentage, and was named First Team All-Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. Simone finished his college career with a season at Gardner-Webb University where Marinelli served as an assistant coach. He played professionally this past summer in the Frontier League for the New Jersey Jackals.
