The Wolves were able to pressure early, but shot by Sam Bates was saved. SUNY Brockport settled into the game and pressured the Keuka College goal. The Golden Eagles broke through in the 24th minute to make it 1-0. The Wolves answered back minutes later. Emma Sisson sent a long free kick into the box from midfield following a Brockport foul. There was miscommunication between a charging Brockport keeper and defender. The defender knocked the ball away, and Bailey Cook was there for the Wolves to knock it into the open goal and tie the game. The game would remain level at halftime.

The Golden Eagles struck quickly out of halftime, scoring 1:33 into the second half to take the lead. Ten minutes later, the hosts doubled their lead with a goal to make it 3-1. The Wolves had a chance to draw within one midway through the frame. Keuka looked to catch the Brockport keeper off her line, but the long shot went just wide of goal.
