DELHI, N.Y. — The Keuka College Women's Volleyball team split a tri-match at SUNY Delhi on Saturday afternoon.
Keuka College (3-5) swept the host Broncos in the opening match, however, the Wolves would fall to Hamilton College in straight sets to close the day.
Keuka College 3 at SUNY Delhi 0 – 25-22, 25-12, 25-18
The Wolves used a large nine-point run to take an early 11-1 lead over Delhi. The Broncos stayed in the set, however, and used a seven-point stretch to tie the first and take a 17-16 lead.
Addisyn Chorney hit a kill for the Wolves to stop the run and tie the frame. Keuka College got to set-point on a kill by Alessandra Castañeda. Chorney followed with a kill to give the Wolves the opener 25-22.
Keuka College used another fast start to take control of the second set.
Nina Scott had three kills during a run that gave the Wolves an 8-1 advantage. Later in the frame, the Wolves scored seven unanswered, with Scott getting three more kills, to take a 22-9 lead. The Wolves closed it out for a 2-0 lead in the match.
The third set would be closer, but the Wolves worked multiple small stretches to grow their lead. The Wolves were clean in the frame with 13 kills against just two errors. Keuka College took the third 25-18 to close out the sweep.
Hamilton College 3 vs. Keuka College 0 – 25-7, 25-9, 25-18
The Continentals jumped out to an early lead in both the first and second sets as they took control of the match. The Wolves battled with some late points in the third set, but Hamilton closed out the frame to sweep the Wolves.

- Trends continued for the Wolves against both opponents. Keuka College improved to 3-0 all-time against SUNY Delhi but fell to 0-6 all-time against Hamilton College
- Nina Scott led the Wolves with 17 kills against the Broncos, ranking in the top ten for kills in a three-set match in program history
- Gianna Falleti was second with seven kills, tying her career high
- Gabby Rodriguez had 28 digs on the day, including 17 in the win over SUNY Delhi
- Alessandra Castañeda had a team-high nine kills against Hamilton College
Up Next for Keuka College: The Wolves will return home this week as they play the second half of their home-and-home series with Alfred State. The Pioneers swept the Wolves in Alfred earlier this week.
