The Wolves found themselves behind early as the visitors scored just 1:22 into the opening quarter. Reed answered with six first-quarter saves, highlighted by a stop on a penalty stroke less than five minutes into the contest to keep Keuka within one goal.

Keuka's defense continued to battle in the second quarter. Cassidy Scheftic and Ashley Pospiech each recorded defensive saves, but the visitors added another goal late in the period to take a 2-0 lead into halftime.

The Wolves generated their first offensive opportunity early in the third quarter as Paige Bull (Lockport, N.Y. / Starpoint) put a shot on goal following a penalty corner by Zoey Dettbarn. Reed added two more saves in the frame as Keuka held the deficit at two entering the final quarter.

Keuka College earned a pair of penalty corners in the fourth quarter and nearly broke through when Brianna Broadwell had a shot turned away by a defensive save. The Wolves also received a late shot on goal from Emma Mantione, but the visitors added two goals midway through the quarter to seal the 4-0 decision.
