PENN YAN, N.Y. — The Keuka College Men's Golf team started the spring season on Thursday as they hosted their annual spring invitational at Lakeside Country Club in Penn Yan.

The Wolves entered a pair of teams in the invitational. The Green team finished fifth with a 363 as a team. The Gold team did not post a score.

Cam Hovater led all golfers for the Wolves, posting an 85 and finishing in a tie for sixth. With the finish, Hovater entered the career list for top ten finishes in a career at Keuka College.

On the Green team, Noah Banks led Keuka with an 88 in his first collegiate tournament. Tino LoPresto was second on the team with a 91. Setting a new personal-best with a 92 was Caleb Strade. Rounding out the Green team scoring for Keuka was Nathan Gillette.

Thursday was the final prep for Keuka College before they continue the Empire 8 Conference Championship. The four-round tournament started with a pair of rounds in the Fall and will resume with two more rounds at Lebanon Country Club in Pennsylvania starting on Sunday, April 19.
