KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — The Keuka College Women's Lacrosse team was defeated by Russell Sage 15-6 in an Empire 8 matchup on Saturday.
Sage built an early lead and used a strong second quarter to take control, outscoring the Wolves 5-1 in the period to lead 7-2 at halftime. The visitors continued to extend their advantage in the second half.
Brooklyn Ayers led Keuka College with a career high four goals with two assists.
Raegan Weissinger and
Liz Spin each added a goal, while
Lauren Vitello made nine saves in goal for the Wolves.
Sage held a 41-13 advantage in shots and capitalized with six player-up goals in the victory.
The Wolves will hit the road on Wednesday, April 15 to take on SUNY Geneseo at 4:00 p.m.
