ALFRED, N.Y. — The Keuka College Men's Lacrosse team was defeated on the road Wednesday at Alfred University, falling 23-3 in an Empire 8 matchup.
Alfred took control early with a nine-goal first quarter and built a 16-1 halftime lead, using a strong advantage at the faceoff X and consistent offensive pressure throughout.
Harrison Root,
Tre Lloyd, and
Austin Holsclaw each scored for Keuka College (5-4, 0-2 E8), with Lloyd adding an assist.
Aiden Nice also recorded an assist for the Wolves.
In goal,
Jaxson Tucker made a career high 25 saves while facing heavy pressure, and
Jayden Greco led the defense with three caused turnovers.
Alfred controlled possession for much of the contest, winning 27 of 30 faceoffs and holding a significant edge in shots (81-14).
