KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — Keuka College junior center Brooke Burd was named Third Team All-Empire 8 Conference, the league announced on Thursday.

Burd becomes the first Keuka College Women's Basketball player to earn the honor from the Empire 8 Conference and the first Wolves to be named all-conference since Sam Laranjo '20 earned Third Team All-North Eastern Athletic Conference in 2020.

Brooke Burd finished the season as the Empire 8 leader in double-doubles. She averaged one on the year with 10.0 points and 11.3 rebounds per game. Burd set the program record with 11 double-doubles this season and ranks third on the career list.

She scored a career-high 241 points in her junior year. One of the top rebounders in the league, Burd grabbed 268 boards in 2025-26 to set a new career high as well. It ranked as the fifth-most rebounds in a season in program history and was the most since the 1991-92 season. She also impacted the game on the defensive-end with her shot blocking. She averaged over a block a game to rank fourth in the Empire 8. Her 35 blocks were fifth-most in a season at Keuka.

Also honored on Thursday was first-year guard Emiley Anderson as she was named to the Empire 8 Tomorrow's Leaders Team. Anderson had a strong first year for the Wolves. She played a larger role in the second half of the season and doubled her scoring output in conference games.

Anderson was one of 12 student-athletes honored by the conference. From the Conference's release, "This team honors a student-athlete who has emerged as a leader not only on the field of play, but in the classroom and in the community. In addition, they 'compete with honor and integrity' and have distinguished themselves and consistently exhibit the critical traits as outstanding sportswomen."
