ELMIRA, N.Y. — The 2025-26 Women's Basketball season for Keuka College came to an end on Tuesday as the Wolves lost at Elmira College 68-58 in an Empire 8 contest.
Lillian Mullen led Keuka College (9-15, 4-12 Empire 8) with 19 points. Senior
Mary Cotter added 17 points in her final game for the Green and Gold.
Elmira College 68 vs. Keuka College 58
The Wolves came out firing, staking a 12-7 lead over the host Soaring Eagles in the first five minutes. Elmira cut the margin to two at 12-10, but Keuka outscored the Soaring Eagles 7-0 over the final four minutes to lead 19-10 after one.
Keuka College opened the second quarter strongly as well, outscoring Elmira 6-2 over the start of the quarter to lead 25-13. However, Elmira rebounded and rallied against the Wolves. The hosts outscored the Wolves 14-5 over the final six minutes to get back into the game. Keuka remained ahead of Elmira, 30-27, at the half.
The Soaring Eagles tied the game on a three-point play on the first possession of the second half, but Keuka responded with five unanswered. After trading points, Elmira College used a 13-0 run to overtake the Wolves and build a 44-37 lead. Elmira kept the seven-point advantage as the game went to the final quarter.
It was Keuka College's turn to come back in the game. A three by
Emiley Anderson tied the game at 51-51 with 6:14 left to play. After Elmira scored,
Brooke Burd scored a layup to retie the game and a three by
Mary Cotter gave Keuka a 56-53 lead with 4:34 left to play. Elmira quickly responded with a three and built a lead late. The Wolves were held without a field goal after Cotter's three as the Wolves fell to Elmira College 68-58.

- Keuka College finished the year with four wins in the Empire 8 Conference and nine wins overall. It marked the most in a season for Keuka College in the Empire 8 era
- Lillian Mullen added five steals and four assists to her point total on Tuesday
- Brooke Burd finished the season averaging a double-double for the Wolves. The junior scored 241 points and grabbed 268 rebounds on the season. It was the fifth-most rebounds in a season in program history
- Mary Cotter hit three triples for the Green and Gold, finishing her career with 161 threes, fourth-most in program history. The senior finished the season with 293 points, setting a new career high
