The Wolves looked to respond after the early goal as Patrick Mucha recorded Keuka College's first shot of the match in the eighth minute. Less than a minute later, Timothy Cowin put a shot on goal, but the Green and Gold found themselves trailing 2-0 after 12 minutes of play.

Jakub Szpakowski forced a save in the 20th minute before Mucha added another shot on goal just before halftime. On the defensive end, Snyder made four saves in the opening 45 minutes to keep the Wolves within striking distance.

The Green and Gold continued to battle throughout the second half as Snyder was called into action repeatedly. Keuka College played the final minutes with 10 men following a red card in the 86th minute, and the home team added one final goal in the 88th minute to account for the 3-0 final.
