KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — The Keuka College Women's Basketball team lost at home on Tuesday to SUNY Brockport 75-53 in an Empire 8 Conference game.
Keuka College (6-6, 1-3 Empire 8) was led offensively by
Lillian Mullen with 11 points. Defensively,
Emilee Bacon grabbed 19 rebounds, and
Brooke Burd added 11 boards.
SUNY Brockport 75 at Keuka College 53
The Golden Eagles jumped out to a 12-0 start over Keuka College on Tuesday. A jumper by
Mary Cotter got the Green and Gold on the board midway through the first quarter. Brockport led 19-8 after the first.
The Wolves put together a quick 7-0 run in the second quarter. Cotter knocked down a three for the Wolves, and it was followed by baskets by
Lillian Mullen and
Rylee Cuozzo to make it 22-16 Brockport. The Golden Eagles reestablished their double-digit margin, but Keuka did not go away.
Emiley Anderson hit a three at the buzzer for the Wolves to make it an eight-point game, 35-27, at halftime.
After Keuka College won the second quarter 19-16, SUNY Brockport responded with a strong third quarter. The Golden Eagles won the frame 24-7 and took a 59-34 lead into the final quarter.

Janea Hamilton-Brown sparked a 10-0 run for the Wolves in the fourth quarter. Like the second, Keuka College won the frame 19-16, but the lead was too large for SUNY Brockport as the Golden Eagles defeated the Wolves 75-53.

Up Next for Keuka College: The Wolves will turn their attention to their first road Empire 8 weekend of the season. Keuka College will play at St. John Fisher University on Friday night and then travel to Nazareth University to face the Golden Flyers on Saturday.
