KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — Keuka College Women's Basketball's first-year forward Emilee Bacon was named the Empire 8 Conference Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week.

Bacon shot a perfect 4-4 from the floor, scoring nine points, on Friday against Russell Sage College. However, she made her impact on the glass and the defensive end. Bacon tied her season-high with 12 rebounds and set a new career high with four blocks against the Gators. She then rolled that performance into Saturday with a season-high 12 points in Keuka's conference victory over Hartwick College.

For the season, Bacon is averaging 5.9 points and 7.0 rebounds per game. She also has 11 blocks on the season, second-most on the team, and ranks in the top ten in the Empire 8.

The Wolves enter a tough week of conference play. They begin at home on Tuesday as they face SUNY Brockport. The Wolves travel to Nazareth University on Friday and then play at St. John Fisher University on Saturday.
