WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — The Keuka College Men's Lacrosse team lost on the road on Saturday at Lycoming College 23-7 in a non-conference game.

Harrison Root led Keuka College (1-2) with four goals on the afternoon.

The Warriors took control of the game early, outscoring the Wolves 11-0 in the first quarter.

Keuka responded with back-to-back goals from Harrison Root to start the second quarter. Mitchell Wise followed with a tally. Lycoming got one late, but Keuka outscored the Warriors 3-1 in the frame. Lycoming remained ahead 12-3 at the half.

Aiden Nice scored the first goal of the second half but Lycoming answered back with six straight. Root scored the final two goals of the third with Kaleb Glessing getting the assists.

Lycoming scored five in a row to start the fourth quarter. Ryan Bewlay scored the first of his career in the final minutes, but the Wolves lost on Saturday 23-7.

Up Next for Keuka College: The Green and Gold have over a week break in the schedule. Keuka College will return to action on Tuesday, March 18 as the Wolves play at Alfred State College.
