KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — The Keuka College Men's Basketball team lost 80-73 at home on Saturday to Buffalo State in a non-conference game.
Lamar Lovelace led Keuka College (1-1) with 25 points and six rebounds.
Akinlana Popoola added 13 points for the Wolves.

The two teams traded the lead early in the first half on Saturday. A three by
Kevin Felasco cut into the Bengals lead. Later, an offensive rebound and jumper by
Ty LaBarge gave the Wolves a 17-16 lead, but Buffalo State took it right back. An old-fashioned three-point-play by
Chase Welch gave Keuka the lead back as there were nine lead changes and four ties in the opening half. A quick 6-0 jump by the Green and Gold gave Keuka the lead to close the half. It was their largest run of the game. The Wolves went on another 6-0 run over the final two minutes, capped by a three by
Lamar Lovelace, to lead 36-28 at the half.
The Bengals came out hot in the second half. After making just two three-pointers in the first half, they drained four in the opening four minutes to take the lead. Buffalo State pushed their lead out to eight midway through the frame. The Wolves continued to push as back-to-back threes by
Chase Welch cut the margin to two at 59-57. Keuka would cut the lead down to one point multiple times but were unable to get the game back to level. Buffalo State closed out the 80-73 victory.
