KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — Keuka College junior defender Cassidy Scheftic was named to the 2025 Empire 8 Field Hockey Tomorrow's Leaders team.

Scheftic was a team leader for the Wolves, starting all 16 games on defense. She recorded a defensive save on the season and also got involved in the offense, scoring Keuka's goal against Houghton University.

She has started every game in her two-year career at Keuka College. Scheftic is a nursing major and is carrying a grade point average over 3.50.

Scheftic was one of 11 student-athletes honored by the conference. From the Conference's release, "This team honors a student-athlete who has emerged as a leader not only on the field of play, but in the classroom and in the community. In addition, they 'compete with honor and integrity' and have distinguished themselves and consistently exhibit the critical traits as outstanding sportswomen."
