KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — The Keuka College Men's Soccer team lost on Wednesday night, falling to Elmira College 4-0 in an Empire 8 Conference game.

Keuka College (1-12, 1-7 Empire 8) got five saves in goal by Logan Karn.

The Soaring Eagles started strong against the Wolves, but the Keuka defense held. Keuka College had a chance in the 14th minute off of a corner kick, but the header by Carson Montoney went just over the crossbar. Elmira continued to pressure the Wolves and broke through in the 22nd minute for the lead. The visitors doubled their lead four minutes later to make it 2-0. Elmira would be awarded a penalty kick but sent the ball over the crossbar. However, the Soaring Eagles scored less than a minute from the miss to lead 3-0 at the break.

The Wolves were able to build some more chances in the second half, but Elmira was the one who capitalized as they took a 4-0 lead in the 64th minute. Two of Keuka's best chances came from Cole Santiago on set pieces. Santiago teased the goal directly off of a corner kick in the 68th and then forced the Soaring Eagles keeper into another save seconds later off of a free kick. Keuka would not be able to break through as the game ended with Elmira winning 4-0.
