The Wolves controlled the play early and pressed the Hawks' goal. Hilbert's defense held firm until the 28th minute. Delaney Goodenow got the ball about 30 yards from goal. She let the long shot go and caught the keeper off her line. The shot went over her head and into the goal for the 1-0 lead. Minutes later, it was Chaise Willis who collected the ball outside of the box, settled, and let a quick shot go. Willis found the upper half of the goal as the Wolves led 2-0 at the half.

After outshooting the Hawks 17-0 in the first half, the Wolves continued to attack. Lindsey Garback raced down the left wing and into the box. She went high with her shot in the 64th minute for Keuka's third goal of the game. The scoring was capped in the final minutes as Goodenow found a streaking Willis through the Hilbert defense. Willis tucked the ball inside the right post as the Wolves defeated the Hawks 4-0.
