KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — Keuka College Women's Soccer opened Green and Gold Weekend at Keuka College with a conference game against Nazareth University. The Wolves lost the game 3-1 under the lights on Friday night.
Peyton Miller (Mercer Pa. / Mercer) scored her first goal of the season and
Elianna Wilder (Victor, N.Y. / Victor) recorded six saves in goal for the Wolves.

The Wolves struck first in the 17th minute when
Peyton Miller scored off a fast break to give Keuka the 1-0 lead. However, Nazareth quickly responded with a goal in the 32nd minute, tying the match at 1-1. Just before halftime, a penalty kick awarded to Nazareth allowed them to take a 2-1 lead into the break.
The second half saw both teams battle for control, but Nazareth's Overton netted another goal in the 78th minute, extending the lead to 3-1. Despite Keuka's efforts, including a late shot from
Kelsey Davis, Nazareth held on for the 3-1 victory.
Up Next for Keuka College: The Green and Gold will continue with conference play on the road at SUNY Geneseo on Wednesday, October 2. This will be the first meeting of the two teams since Geneseo joined the Empire 8.
