KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — The Keuka College Men's and Women's Soccer teams continued to showcase a strong academic tradition by having six members from each team named College Sports Communicators Academic All-District.
The Keuka College Men's Soccer team had six student-athletes honored. The Wolves accounted for 25% of the selections from the Empire 8 Conference and Keuka repeated as having the most honorees in the league. Named Academic All-District for men's soccer was:
It was the second career selection for
Nico Leone,
Evan Pellerito, and
Owen Thorpe.
The Keuka College Women's Soccer team also had a strong showing, posing six on the Academic All-District list for the second consecutive season. Keuka College was one of five schools in the Empire 8 Conference to have six selections. Honored from the Wolves were:
Peyton Steates was the lone repeat honoree on the women's side.
To be eligible for Academic All-District, the student-athlete must have at least a sophomore standing and carry a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.50 while playing at least 90% of the team's games.
