UTICA, N.Y.
— The Keuka College Women's Soccer team wrapped up their season with a hard-fought match against Utica University but ultimately fell 2-0 on Wednesday afternoon.
Elianna Wilder (Victor N.Y. / Victor) anchored the defense with 12 saves in goal while
Sam Bates (Holley, N.Y. / Holley) recorded two shots on goal for the Keuka offense.

The Wolves played a strong defensive first half, with Wilder making critical saves to keep the game scoreless. Keuka generated chances of their own, including shots on goal by
Chaise Willis (Greece, N.Y. / Greece Athena) and
Sam Bates but the Pioneer goalkeeper was up to the task. The game went into the break at 0-0.
In the second half, Utica broke through in the 72nd minute, scoring off a well-placed assist to make it 1-0. Five minutes later, they added a second goal, widening their lead. Keuka College fought back, with
Lindsey Garbacz (West Seneca, N.Y. / West Seneca) a shot on goal that was saved, but the Wolves could not close the gap. Keuka lost the final game of the season 2-0.
