ALFRED, N.Y. — The Keuka College Women's Basketball team lost 60-32 at Alfred University in an Empire 8 Conference game on Friday night.
Keuka College (1-13, 0-6 E8) was led by
Sydney Brown with nine points.
Mary Cotter added eight points and led Keuka with nine rebounds.

Katie Deatherage hit a jumper in the paint midway through the first quarter to make it a two-point game. The Saxons responded with five unanswered to lead 11-4 after the first quarter.
The run by the Saxons was extended to 17 in the second quarter.
Maddie Kramer scored with 3:48 left in the half to end the run. Alfred pushed their lead past 20 and held a 32-8 advantage at the break.
The Wolves picked up the scoring in the second half.
Mary Cotter hit a pair of threes for the Wolves to drop the margin to 22, 38-16. Unfortunately for the Wolves, Alfred had an answer for every Keuka shot. The two teams tied the third 14-14, but the Saxons maintained their lead.
A personal five-point run by
Sydney Brown dropped the margin down to 21, 50-29, midway through the fourth quarter. However, that would be as close as the Wolves would make it. Keuka College won the fourth 14-10, but the Saxons won the game 60-32.
KC Notes:
- The Wolves now fall to 16-27 all-time against the Saxons. The 43 meetings are the second-most against a single school in program history
- As a team, Keuka College collected 40 rebounds in the game. Cotter led with nine but Deatherage was right behind her with eight in the game
- It was a new career-high in rebounding for Mary Cotter
- Alfred University attempted 39 threes on Friday. That tied St. John Fisher for the most against the Green and Gold this season
