GENEVA, N.Y. — The Keuka College Men's Soccer team opened with a 6-0 loss at Hobart College on Friday night.

The Statesmen jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead 13 minutes into the game on Friday. The Wolves were able to answer as
Connor Thorpe had a good opportunity looking for the top left corner, but it was saved by Hobart. After a fast start, the game transitioned to a battle for possession. Hobart would build and scored their third in the 38th minute to take a 3-0 advantage into halftime.
Hobart once again scored early in the period, netting their fourth goal 68 seconds into the second half. Trailing 5-0, Keuka had a chance in the 76th.
Owen Thorpe's shot looked destined for the left side, but it was pushed wide of frame. The Wolves got their first corner kick of the game but were unable to generate a shot off of the set piece. Hobart added a late tally as they defeated Keuka College 6-0.

- The Wolves fall to 0-7-1 all-time against the Statesmen. Keuka has lost to Hobart in each of their last three season-opening games
- Keuka College has now dropped six straight season openers
- Hobart held a 14-4 advantage in shots over the Wolves
