KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — The Keuka College Field Hockey team dropped their season-opening contest to SUNY Brockport 3-0 on Friday at the Jephson Community Athletic Complex.

The Golden Eagles started on the front foot, but
Jordan Nichols was there for a pair of early saves. Brockport took advantage of a string of three straight corners. The third helped produce the first goal of the game with three minutes left in the first.
Minutes into the second, Brockport doubled their lead. The Green and Gold had a chance to answer right back with a pair of corners but would be unable to produce a shot. Brockport would lead 2-0 at halftime.
Brockport added to their lead with a tally in the third and went on to defeat the Wolves 3-0.

- Keuka College remains in search of their first victory over Brockport. The two teams have met in each of Keuka's eight seasons of field hockey and have been the season-opening opponent in six of those eight seasons
- Brockport held the advantage in corners 12-6 over Keuka
- Kirstin Billings recorded a shot on goal for the Wolves
Up Next for Keuka College: The Wolves get right back on the field with a noon game on Saturday, September 2. It will be a battle of the KC's as Keuka College will host Keystone College at the Jephson Community Athletic Complex.
