PITTSFORD, N.Y. – The Keuka College Softball team lost both games of their final doubleheader of the season against St. John Fisher on Saturday afternoon.
Keuka College (11-27, 3-13 Empire 8) lost to St. John Fisher University 8-0 in game one after six innings. The Wolves were then defeated by the Cardinals 8-3 in game two.
Keuka College 0 at St. John Fisher University 8 – Game One – 6 Innings
The Cardinals controlled the game from the second inning and were up 5-0 by the end of the fifth. The Wolves were unable to get a runner on base until
Emily Cutrona (Buffalo, N.Y. / West Seneca West) came up with a single to right field to break the Cardinal's perfect game, but that would be the end of the Wolves' offense.
The Cardinals would score three more runs in the bottom of the sixth to end the game 8-0 against the Wolves.
Lead Wolf: Emily Cutrona was responsible for the lone hit in game one. The Freshman singled to right field breaking up the Cardinal's perfect game.
Keuka College 3 at St. John Fisher University 8– Game Two
The Wolves' offense picked up in game two.
Hannah Longley (Hannibal, N.Y. / Hannibal) doubled down the left field line to start the game.
Kelsey Mohl (Averill Park, N.Y. / Averill Park) reached first on an error scoring Longley and
Olivia Flynn (Williamson, N.Y. / Williamson) reached on an error to score Mohl and put the Wolves up 2-0.
The Cardinals got two runs back in the bottom of the second and took the lead 3-2 in the third. The Cardinals would then go on to make the score 6-2 by the end of the fifth inning.
The Wolves fought back in the sixth.
Grace Eagen (Buffalo, N.Y. / West Seneca West) doubled to right center field,
Emily Cutrona singled to put runners on first and third, and
Joan Carroll (Oswego, N.Y. / Oswego) reached first on an error to score Eagen and make the score 6-3.
The Cardinals answered with two more runs in the bottom of the sixth and with the Wolves unable to answer, the Cardinals would take game two 8-3.
Lead Wolf: Emily Cutrona again led the Wolves' offense going three-for-three with a double. The Freshman also bunted for a hit and singled up the middle.

- The Cardinals are the second most-played opponent for the Wolves throughout program history.
- The Wolves finished their season with 301 hits as a team, the fourth most in program history.
- The Green & Gold also finished with 54 doubles, the second most from a team in program history.
- The Freshman of the Keuka College Softball team made their mark with four different first-year players making it into the record book.
- Hannah Longley and Helena Hill (Akron, N.Y. / Akron) both finished with 14 stolen bases this season. They are now both tied with three others for eighth place in the record book.
