GENESEO, N.Y. — The Keuka College Men's Basketball team lost on Tuesday night at SUNY Geneseo 56-43 in a non-conference game.
Keuka College (1-4, 0-0 Empire 8) was led by
Christian Sage with 18 points.
Mason VanDeMortel added 11 for the Wolves.

Both teams struggled out of the block on Tuesday as the game was tied 4-4 through the opening six minutes. A layup by
Amar Jackson tied the game at 7-7 with 8:29 left in the half. However, the Knights outscored the Wolves 22-7 over the final stretch of the half.
Ezeke Pulliam drove the lane and laid the ball off to Jackson for the layup before the buzzer but Geneseo led 29-14 at the break.
On the opening possession of the second half,
Mason VanDeMortel knocked down a three for Keuka College. He later hit another one to cut the margin to 11 at 33-25. VanDeMortel had a block on the defensive end and then hit another three to cut the Knights' lead to eight with 12 minutes remaining in the game. After a Geneseo free throw, the Wolves scored four more points to cut the lead to five, 37-32, midway through the half. Keuka cut it down to a two-point game. A personal 4-0 run by
Christian Sage made it 43-41 in favor of the Knights with 5:58 left. Geneseo flipped the switch on the Wolves. The Knights scored the next 13 points, holding the Wolves off the board for over five minutes, to secure the game.

- Keuka College is now 2-12 all-time against SUNY Geneseo and 0-3 when playing at Geneseo
- The Wolves struggled from deep on Tuesday, shooing 5-32 from three. It was the lowest three-point shooting percentage for Keuka College since February 2019
- Mason VanDeMortel led the Wolves with eight rebounds. Keuka College out-rebounded SUNY Geneseo 42-40
