HAMBURG, N.Y. — The Keuka College Men's Basketball team lost at Hilbert College 92-70 in a non-conference game on Saturday afternoon.

Hilbert College 92 vs. Keuka College 70
Each team held the lead in the opening minutes, but a 7-0 run for the Hawks helped them build a 21-10 lead over the Wolves. A three-point play by Christian Sage snapped the run, but the lead would stay in double-digits for most of the half for Hilbert. A late 6-0 run for Keuka shrunk the lead down to four, but Hilbert scored the final five points of the half to lead 48-39 at the break.

The Wolves were firing early. A three by Mason VanDeMortel cut it down to six, 50-44, but the Hawks answered with 13 unanswered, keeping Keuka off the board for over four minutes. The Wolves would not be able to dig out of that hold. Hilbert kept the margin in double figures the rest of the way as they defeated Keuka College 92-70.

KC Notes:
  • The Wolves have dropped three straight to the Hawks. Hilbert leads the all-time series 16-9
  • Devin Milton passed Hall of Famer Matt Donahoe for third on the Keuka College career scoring list. The graduate student has scored 1,269 points in his career
  • Keuka had the advantage in three-point shooting, outscoring the Hawks 18-12 from deep, but Hilbert had the advantage in the paint 54-28
  • It was a season-high in points for Amar Jackson
