The Wolves had an early chance in the fourth minute as Ciarra Rudnick's shot got past the Highlander keeper but was cleared off the line by a Houghton defender. The two teams would both have chances in the first, but the hosts struck first as they scored in the 15th minute for the lead. The Wolves tried to answer back but they had shots hit off the post, were saved, and go wide. Keuka had six shots in the first half but would go into halftime trailing 1-0.

The deficit quickly jumped to three as Houghton scored in the 61st minute and then again in the 65th to make it 3-0. The Wolves continued to battle and send balls towards the Highlander goal. The pressure paid off for Keuka in the 75th minute as Ciarra Rudnick set up Grace DeCapua for a goal, making it 3-1. Keuka College continued to pressure, but the Wolves would not be able to cut into the deficit any further. Houghton saw the game out for the 3-1 conference victory over the Wolves.
