UTICA, N.Y. — The Keuka College Men's Soccer team lost 2-0 at Utica University to close the 2023 season on Wednesday night.
Keuka College finished the season with a 1-10-3 record, going 0-6-2 in the Empire 8.
As a team, the Wolves made 18 saves against the Pioneers.
Carson Smith made 11 stops in the first half for the Wolves and
Cory Cangemi recorded 7 saves in the second.

Both teams had chances early as Smith made a pair of saves in the opening five minutes. The Wolves got a corner kick in the ninth minute but were not able to generate a shot. Utica would pull ahead in the 16th minute to make it 1-0. The Pioneers continued to attack, outshooting Keuka 20-1 in the first half.
Isaac Smith had the lone shot for the Wolves. Keuka trailed 1-0 at the half.
The play continued in the defensive end for the Green and Gold after Keuka was forced to play a man-down. Shots in the second were 14-3 in favor of Utica. The hosts added a goal in the 85th minute as they defeated the Wolves 2-0 on Wednesday night.
