WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — The Keuka College Women's Soccer team lost a non-conference game on Wednesday night 4-0 to Penn College.
Keuka College (1-11-1, 1-5 Empire 8) got three saves in the first half from
Sam Pelcher and four in the second by
Elianna Wilder.

The Wolves had some early chances on Wednesday, but their efforts went wide. Penn College struck when they had a chance, scoring in the 9th minute to take the lead. The Wildcats then doubled their lead 33 seconds later. The Wolves took possession right back with a corner kick, but the ensuing shot went high. Penn scored their third in the 20th minute. Keuka had eight shots in the first half, but only one was on goal. The Wolves trailed 3-0 at the half.
Penn College pressed the Keuka end early in the second, but momentum flipped midway through the half. The Wolves had good chances by
Shayla Vetter and
Ciarra Rudnick, but both shots were saved. The pressure continued as the Wolves had seven shots in the second half, five on goal, but were unable to break through. Penn College added a late goal to defeat the Wolves 4-0

- The Wolves fall to 4-5-1 all-time against Penn College and are 1-4 when playing in Williamsport
- The four stops by Wilder set a new career-high for the sophomore keeper
- Shots and corners were close with Penn holding a 20-15 edge in shots and 7-6 in corners
- Shayla Vetter tied for the team lead with three shots and led the Wolves with a pair of shots on goal
Up Next for Keuka College: The Green and Gold will look to bounce back as they finish the regular season with a pair of Empire 8 games. Saturday will be the final home game for Keuka College as they host Elmira College at 1 p.m. Before the game will be the annual Senior Day celebration for the graduating seniors on this year's team. The Wolves will then travel to Houghton University in a week to close the regular season against the Highlanders.
