Keuka College pressured early and struck first. Makaela Mills found Tori Nelson at the top of the circle who ripped a shot from distance inside the left post for the 1-0 lead. However, the Warriors would answer with a goal of their own with 4:32 left in the quarter. The game would remain tied after one.

The Warriors pressured the Wolves for most of the second quarter. Jordan Nichols made four saves in the frame, but Lycoming would push through just before halftime with a goal. The visitors led 2-1 at the break.

Lycoming College controlled the play for most of the third quarter. Nichols was called on for four saves in the frame. Neither team scored as the game remained at 2-1 in favor of the Warriors.

The Wolves had a chance midway through the fourth as Kirstin Billings and Laine Rogers broke down the field on a two-on-one, but the Warrior defense held. A minute later, Mills raced to the end line and sent a centering pass in but was unable to connect with her teammates in front of the cage. With five minutes left to play, Keuka College would tie the game as Alex Roland deflected a midair shot by Laine Rogers to make it 2-2. The Wolves continued to press and would take the lead with 1:59 left to play. Alexis Dodge found her high school teammate Tori Nelson for her second goal of the game and a 3-2 lead. However, the scoring would not be completed. Lycoming turned up their pressure. The Warriors would tie the game with 42 seconds remaining to force overtime against the Wolves.

In overtime, both teams had their chances in 7v7 as play raced up and down the field. However, neither team would score in the 20 extra minutes and the game would go to a shootout.
Keuka College went first and was stopped. Lycoming answered with a goal in their attempt for the early advantage. For the rest of the chances, the goalies would stop the attacker. Keuka was stopped on all five attempts, losing the shootout 1-0.
