Kirstin Billings (Hilton, N.Y./ Hilton) took a shot on goal with the pass coming from a penalty corner from
Jillian McGinley (Syracuse, N.Y./ East Syracuse Minoa), but it was saved by the Presidents' goalkeeper. The game remained scoreless for the first quarter, but Nichols earned five saves throughout the quarter.
The Wolves jumped out on offense in the second quarter.
Anna Dewey (Sidney, N.Y./ Sidney) had two back-to-back shots that were both blocked to keep the score at 0-0. Seven minutes into the second quarter, the Presidents scored first putting them up 1-0.
Makaela Mills refused to let the Presidents go to halftime with the lead. With less than two minutes left in the half, Mills snuck a shot by the President's defense into the net to tie the game 1-1.
The Presidents took control at the start of the third quarter getting two quick shots off. The Wolves' defense held strong blocking one while Nichols saved the other. The Wolves would have another chance as McGinley took another penalty corner and passed to
Tori Nelson (Vernon Center, N.Y./ Vernon-Verona-Sherrill) but the President's goalkeeper saved the shot to keep the game at 1-1. McGinley would pass to Nelson one more time off a penalty corner in the third, but another save from the Presidents would keep the game tied 1-1 going into the fourth.

Eight minutes into the fourth, W&J would find the back of the net again going up 3-1 on the Wolves. Just a minute later would score their fourth goal of the day.
