HOUGHTON, N.Y. – Keuka Field Hockey loses to Houghton College for the first game of Conference place.

Megan Makowski had four saves in today's game. McKenzie Hoyt had the only goal in today's game.

Lycoming College 2 vs. Keuka College 1

Keuka Field Hockey would get the first shots of the game but Houghton would get on the board first. Keuka would cause some penalty corners but not be able to finish. In the second period the control was back and forth. The Wolves would try to get that goal back but Houghton's defense wouldn't allow them to score. Houghton would get one more with 30 seconds left in the second period. The Wolves would trail 2-0 going into the half.

The Wolves jumped out hot in the second half causing two penalty corner in the first minutes of the third period but were unable to finish. They would continue to cause pressure on Houghton's defense and finally get another penalty corner and Hoyt was able to find the net. Shortening the lead 2-1. Houghton responded immediately back going up 3-1 after three periods

Houghton would add another to their score making it 4-1.

• Keuka has scored in every game versus Houghton they are now 0-5 against Houghton all-time.
• Hoyt has three goals this season which is the score leader so far this season.
