Box Score ALFRED, N.Y. — The Keuka College Men's Basketball team lost an Empire 8 Conference contest on Tuesday evening 80-61 at Alfred University.
A pair of Wolves were in double-figures as Devin Milton had a team-high 14 points for Keuka College (0-3, 0-3 E8). Nana Oteng scored 10 points and added three steals and two assists for Keuka.

The Wolves came out of the gate fast on Tuesday as the Green and Gold opened the game on a 7-0 run. Devin Milton accounted for five of those points for the Wolves. The hosts would respond as Alfred scored ten straight to take a 13-9 lead at the 15-minute mark. The Saxons would hold onto that lead for the rest of the game. Daniel Obunse hit a three to make it 15-12 in favor of the Saxons, but Alfred would spread their lead out to double-digits. Keuka College would cut the margin to five, 34-29) late in the first half on threes by Bradley Stone and DJ Billings, but Alfred again had an answer and would lead 41-31 at the half.
The Saxons would widen their lead in the second half. After leading by 21, Daniel Obunse cut into the advantage with offensive rebounds and put backs on back-to-back possessions to make it 60-43 with 12 minutes left to play. The Wolves continued to fight until the end but were unable to mount a comeback as Alfred University defeated Keuka College 80-61 on Tuesday.

- It was the sixth straight season that Keuka and Alfred have gotten together to play, but the first time doing so as members of the Empire 8 conference. Overall the Saxons have won eight straight over Keuka

- Alfred was +15 from the free-throw line. The Saxons went 24-33 from the charity stripe while the Wolves were 9-17
- Keuka College forced Alfred into 18 turnovers, which led to 18 points for the Wolves. Alfred forced Keuka into 16 turnovers, which led to 16 points for the Saxons
Up Next for Keuka College: The Wolves return home to the JMW Recreation and Athletics Center this Friday as Keuka College hosts Utica College. It will be the first meeting between the two schools in over 11 years.
