NAZARETH, N.Y. –Keuka College Field Hockey team lost to Nazareth College in an E8 match up on Saturday.

Alyssa Muszak had the lone goal for the Wolves and also had 11 shots and 10 of them being shots on goal for the Wolves.

The Wolves would get on the board within the first 4 minutes of the game coming off the stick of Muzsak. The Wolves would finish the first quarter up by one and holding Nazareth's offense.

In the second quarter Nazareth would tie the game at 1. The Wolves would have the opportunity to take back the lead but was unable to finish.  

Coming back from half Laura Ramsey ran the ball down and took a shot but was wide. The Wolves would keep the pressure on Nazareth's defense when Mikaela Mills ran the ball down, did a spin move and shot but the shot was saved. With 11 seconds left in the quarter the Wolves would get a penalty corner and but was saved by the defense to go into the fourth quarter tied at one.

The Wolves would continue to add pressure in the fourth quarter by getting another penalty shot in the first 30 seconds but the shot would be wide. They would end the fourth quarter tied at one and the Wolves would go into overtime.

Keuka would keep all the pressure on the Nazareth's defense but was unable to find the back of the net. With 30 seconds left in overtime Nazareth found the goal and took the victory 2-1.

• Keuka College is now 0-5 all-time versus Nazareth. Today's game is the first meeting as conference-mates.
• Alyssa Muszak goal today was her 11 career goal which she is now in fourth in the Keuka College record books passing Shelby Lamb (16-19) and Taylor Lessard (16-19).
• Keuka out shot Nazareth 36 to 7 today having 12 shots in the third and fourth quarter.
• Today's game was the first overtime game for the Wolves since 2019 versus Oswego State.
