Elmria College 3 vs. Keuka College 0 – 25-18, 25-22, 25-22

The Wolves held the lead early against the Soaring Eagles. Elmira used five straight to take the lead. Keuka responded. A block by Solomon Shabazz and Marcus Davic cut the deficit to one at 17-18. However, Elmira rattled off seven of the next eight points to take the first set 25-18.

Once again, Keuka led early, but a five point run by the Soaring Eagles switched the advantage to the home team. The Wolves rallied, much like the first. Keuka regained the lead at 18-17 and extended it to 21-18 following a McKnight kill. However, the second followed the same script as the first. Elmira closed the set scoring seven out of eight points to win the second 25-22 and take a 2-0 lead in the match.

The Soaring Eagles took the lead early, but the Wolves rallied to tie the match at 9-9 and extended a lead to 13-11. It would be a tight third set with multiple ties. Elmira regained the lead, but Keuka leveled the third at 17-17 on a block by Shabazz and Kamren Record. Three straight by the Soaring Eagles flipped the momentum to the hosts. The teams would trade points down the end, but it would be Elmira who pulled out the 25-22 third set victory, sweeping the match.
