LATHAM, N.Y. — Senior Marcus Davic and sophomore Brad McKnight were voted All-North Eastern Athletic Conference by the conference's coaches on Wednesday.
Both Davic and McKnight were selected to the second team. It was the second straight selection for McKnight and the first honor for Davic.
Marcus Davic had a career year in his final season. Despite the season being cut short, Davic had set new career highs in nearly every category. He even surpassed his three-year career totals in just one season in certain categories. Davic was second on the team in blocks and ranked in the top ten in the conference. His 16 aces tied for the team lead. He was also the top hitter, percentage-wise, leading hitters with at least 100 attempts with a .215 hitting percentage.
Brad McKnight backed up his conference rookie-of-the-year season last year with another strong season as a sophomore. He led Keuka College with 152 kills on the season, ranking in the top ten in the NEAC. His 2.87 kills per set was fourth-best in the conference. McKnight added 14 aces on the season and 73 digs. When in NEAC matches, McKnight upped his average to 3.36 kills per set, second best in the league.
The season was cancelled in March due to the global coronavirus pandemic. Keuka College finished with a 7-8 record overall. Their 3-1 record in the NEAC ranked them third in the league.
