Box Score COBLESKILL, N.Y. — The Keuka College Women's Basketball team was outscored 43-16 in the second half as the Wolves fell at SUNY Cobleskill 61-53 in a North Eastern Athletic Conference game on Wednesday night.
Freshman Meaghan McGwin led the way for Keuka College (5-6, 1-3 NEAC) with 12 points. Sam Laranjo scored 10 points and added a team-high nine rebounds.

The two teams traded the lead early in the quarter before the Wolves settled into the game. Keuka College would shoot nearly 54% in the frame and went 7-10 from the line as the Wolves built a lead. In a frantic end, Sam Laranjo made a jumper with nine seconds left. Riley Record stole the ball and laid it in seconds later as the Wolves led 21-12 after the first.
SUNY Cobleskill made the opening basket of the second, but it would be one of only two field goals the Fighting Tigers would make in the frame as the Wolves stepped up the defense. 12 unanswered points for Keuka pushed the lead to 33-14 with three minutes left to go in the half. Keuka College would go on to lead 37-18 at the break.
Riley Record hit a three with 8:54 left in the third quarter to give Keuka College their largest lead of the game, 22 points. SUNY Cobleskill answered with seven straight points as they fought to stay in the game. The Fighting Tigers outscored Keuka 15-7 in the frame, but the Wolves maintained double-digit lead, 44-33, going to the fourth.
After the teams traded baskets in the opening minutes, Cobleskill went on an 11-0 run to take a 51-48 lead over the Wolves with four minutes left in regulation. Over 10-minute span, the Fighting Tigers outscored the Wolves 26-6 to erase the deficit. Sam Laranjo quickly hit a three on the other end to draw the game level at 51-51. After trading baskets to tie it at 53-53, SUNY Cobleskill scored the final eight points of the game to defeat Keuka College 61-53.
